We have recently spread our wings into the world of the mobile phone and have a couple of options for you:

 

iPhone App - Locacity UK

iPhone (and iPod Touch usng WiFi) users can make use of the GarminPOI.co.uk data via the free app, Locacity UK. This is simple to use and also allows you to submit corrections or new POIs using the 'Contribute POI' function in the main menu. Download it here: Locacity UK.

 

Mobile Web - FindStuffNear.me

Any mobile phone with a data connection and graphical web browser can use FindStuffNear.me - GarminPOI.co.uk's sister site. This, again, uses the GarminPOI.co.uk data and will locate you automatically on compatible phones such as iPhone, Blackberry, Palm Pre, Android and some newer Windows Mobile phones. Devices without GPS or locational API's can manually enter their location to find their nearest POIs from the various categories. The idea being when you are in a town you don't know then you can simply look for the nearest street sign and find yourself that way.
